The Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies (CPAS) organised a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) at Angamaly on 3 October 2026, bringing together faculty members and academic professionals for a day of professional development, knowledge sharing and academic interaction. The programme was inaugurated by Shri. Roji M John, Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education, Government of Kerala, marking the formal commencement of the Faculty Development Programme. Shri. Jaimon Jacob, Director, CPAS, presided over the programme. The event featured the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and expert-led sessions addressing important aspects of academic leadership and effective educational practices. The programme included sessions on empowering academic leaders for smarter education and counselling skills for teachers' positive discipline, providing participants with opportunities to engage with contemporary approaches to teaching, academic leadership and professional development. The FDP witnessed the participation of a large number of faculty members and academic professionals. The interactive sessions and discussions provided a valuable platform for sharing experiences, strengthening professional competencies and fostering a culture of continuous learning among educators. The programme reflects the commitment of CPAS to strengthening academic excellence, faculty development and quality higher education across its institutions.
